FLOXIDIN 10% ORAL SOLUTION®

Indications:

Floxidin 10% Oral Solution has been proved to be of immense clinical use in common infections with Gram-negative and Gram-positive bacteria and mycoplasma which commonly occur in poultry such as mycoplasmosis, colisepticaemia, CRD, infectious coryza, fowl cholera, salmonellosis, arthritis, erysipelas (in turkey), campylobacter infections, staphylococcal infections, mixed infections of bacteria and mycoplasma as well as bacterial complication after viral infections.

Dosing and Administration:

Prevention: use Floxidin 10% Oral Solution through drinking water of 1 ml in 2 – 4 litres (2.5 to 5 mg per kg body weight) daily for a duration of 3 -5 days or as directed by a registered veterinary practitioner.

Treatment: use Floxidin10% oral solution 1 ml in 1 – 2 litres of drinking water (5 – 10 mg per kg body weight). Treatment to be continued for minimum 3 consecutive days through drinking water. For Salmonellosis, treatment should be continued for 5 days or as directed by the registered veterinary practitioner.

Floxidin can be combined with Coccidiostats and Amoebostats.

Floxidin has no immunosuppressive properties. For best results administer the whole days’ dose in morning water.
